Types of stethoscope


1.Acoustic Stethoscope

2.Electronic Stethoscope

They are based on the same physical principles as acoustic stethoscopes.

3.Fetal Stethoscope

4.Doppler Stethoscope




A Doppler stethoscope is an electronic device that measures the Doppler effect of reflected waves from ultrasound waves in body organs. The motion is detected as a change in frequency due to the Doppler effect, reflected waves. Therefore, Doppler stethoscopes are particularly well suited for handling moving objects such as beating hearts.
